TT.VII - Technical Parallel Track Sessions
Rome Technopole: Technology Transfer, Education & Training
Co-organized with Rome Technopole Foundation
Chair: Stefano PENNA, Rome Technopole Foundation

This session is part of the Featured Event (FE.III) on "Rome Technopole: Results and services to support innovation".

This first session will provide an integrated overview of the Foundation’s results and services in the areas of technology transfer and advanced education. After three years of activity, Rome Technopole has consolidated a broad portfolio of initiatives aimed at bridging research and industry, accelerating the growth of start-ups and spin-offs, and fostering entrepreneurial culture. Key programmes such as Technè and SpinOut! will be presented, alongside targeted support infrastructures like MedDeviceLab for medical technologies and BRICK for intellectual property management. The session will also highlight the innovative training models promoted by Rome Technopole, including micro-credentials for industry-driven skills, specialised courses in the Bio-Pharma sector, corporate-tailored training through AI&Analytics Hub, and the role of regional and national ITS. This first part will underline the synergy between academic excellence, entrepreneurial capacity, and the evolving needs of strategic sectors.

The symposium is part of FE.III
