Micro and Nanoplastics Exposure and Effects: from Science to Actions Within the Bioplast4safe Project
Co-organized with Istituto Superiore di Sanità
Chairs: Beatrice BOCCA & Cristina ANDREOLI, Istituto Superiore di Sanità

Micro- and nanoplastics, pervasively present in the environment, pose serious risks to ecosystems and public health. The Bioplast4Safe project aims to fill scientific gaps by analyzing exposure scenarios and biological effects of these particles from a One Health perspective. The workshop, “Micro and nanoplastics exposure and effects: from science to actions within the Bioplast4safe project” delves into their dissemination, ecotoxicological impacts, ingestion by key species, degradation in the marine environment, and the use of innovative methodologies to assess health risks to humans. “Project implemented with technical and financial support from the Ministry of Health - PNC”

In addition to the mandatory event registration on the official website at the LINK, participants are also invited to complete the participation form for this session at this other LINK.
